As a Category 2 vehicle, this well-maintained sedan delivers exceptional value for professionals, small families, and discerning drivers who appreciate European craftsmanship without the premium price tag.

Performance & Efficiency

Under the bonnet sits Volkswagen's proven 1.4-litre TSI turbocharged engine, delivering a responsive 92kW of power and 200Nm of torque. The smooth-shifting automatic transmission makes daily commutes effortless, whether you're navigating city traffic or cruising along the N1. Fuel efficiency is a standout feature at approximately 5.8L/100km combined cycle, making those trips between Johannesburg and Pretoria economical. The Jetta accelerates from 0-100km/h in around 9.3 seconds brisk enough for confident highway overtaking while maintaining the balanced handling that Volkswagen is known for.

Why It's Ideal for South African Roads

The Jetta's suspension setup strikes an excellent balance between comfort and handling, absorbing the varied road conditions found throughout South Africa. Ground clearance is adequate for typical urban obstacles, while the compact dimensions make parking in tight city spots manageable.

Volkswagen's widespread dealer network ensures easy servicing and parts availability across the country, a crucial consideration for long-term ownership. The fuel efficiency is particularly valuable given our fluctuating petrol prices, while the 510-litre boot capacity easily accommodates luggage for weekend getaways to the coast or Kruger.

At R229,700, this used Jetta represents exceptional value for a vehicle that combines German build quality, practical features, and reliable performance for South African conditions.
