The slick-shifting 8-speed automatic transmission provides seamless gear changes, eliminating the hassle of clutch work in stop-start city traffic.

The Sportage achieves a commendable fuel consumption figure of approximately 7.1L/100km on combined cycles a significant advantage given South Africa's fuel price fluctuations. When needed, this crossover can sprint from 0-100km/h in just 9.5 seconds, proving that practicality doesn't mean compromising on performance.
