Overview & Notes

A Reliable South African Companion: The 2021 Toyota Corolla Quest in White

The 2021 Toyota Corolla Quest stands as a testament to Toyota's commitment to producing vehicles that balance affordability with dependability. This white manual sedan, now available in pre-owned condition for R275,000, represents Category 2 quality barely showing signs of use while offering tremendous value for money. Perfect for young professionals, small families, or anyone seeking a reliable daily driver that won't break the bank while maintaining that coveted Toyota badge prestige.

Performance & Efficiency:

Under the bonnet sits Toyota's trusty 1.8-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, delivering a balanced 103 kW of power and 173 Nm of torque more than sufficient for both city commuting and highway overtaking. The manual transmission offers a more engaging driving experience while giving you complete control over the powerband, particularly useful when tackling our varied South African roads. Expect impressive fuel economy averaging around 7.0 L/100 km combined cycle, stretching your rands further between fill-ups. The Quest accelerates from 0-100 km/h in approximately 10.2 seconds brisk enough for confident merging onto our busy highways.

Safety features include multiple airbags, ABS braking with Electronic Brake-force Distribution, and Vehicle Stability Control essential features for navigating unpredictable traffic conditions. The Quest also offers generous boot space of 452 litres, easily accommodating weekly shopping or weekend getaway luggage.

Why It's Ideal for South African Roads:

The Corolla Quest was specifically engineered with South African conditions in mind. Its raised ground clearance navigates urban obstacles with ease, while the robust suspension system handles our sometimes challenging road surfaces without complaint. Toyota's widespread dealer network ensures affordable servicing and maintenance nationwide, while the brand's legendary reliability means fewer unexpected breakdowns.

The excellent fuel economy proves particularly valuable given our fluctuating petrol prices, while the Corolla's renowned resale value protects your investment long-term a crucial consideration in today's economic climate.
