Insider Dining Tips
•Spin Street's Bakery-Modern Mash-Up
•Start with their signature artisanal bread basket - it rotates daily and showcases Cape Town's finest baking craftsmanship alongside modern dips.
•The all-day menu transitions seamlessly - morning pastries give way to sophisticated lunch plates while maintaining bakery elements throughout.
•Don't rush to order mains - the small plates featuring bakery components (like brioche with local cheeses) are designed for sharing.
•Weekday timing matters - arrive before noon to secure fresh-baked morning specials before the Parliament crowd claims them.
•Weekend brunches blend traditional bakery fare with modern South African twists - expect familiar pastries reinvented with local ingredients.
•Save room for dessert - 6 Spin Street's pastry chef creates limited daily specials that often sell out by late afternoon.
Insider Tip
•The "Business Lunch Special" includes any bakery item, a modern main and artisanal coffee for R195 on weekdays between 12-2pm.
