Insider Dining Tips
•Azure Restaurant Fine-Dining Guide: Cape Town Coastal Elegance
•Time your visit for sunset if possible – Azure's panoramic Atlantic Ocean views are most spectacular during golden hour.
•The tasting menu is the definitive Azure experience, showcasing Chef Christo Pretorius' modern South African techniques with local seafood.
•Wine pairings are expertly curated – trust the sommelier's recommendations for indigenous Cape varietals that complement the seafood-focused menu.
•Dress code matters – smart casual is minimum, but Cape Town's fine-dining scene appreciates elegant attire at Azure.
•Pace yourself through multi-course experiences – the seafood-forward menu builds deliberately toward signature dishes.
•Reserve a window table at least 3 weeks in advance – Azure's prime ocean-view seating books quickly, especially during whale season.
Insider Tip
•Azure's Sunday lunch special offers a 3-course menu at R595 – significantly less than dinner prices with the same stunning views.
