Insider Dining Tips
•Baglio's Trattoria Traditions
•Order family-style at this authentic Sandton Italian spot – dishes are designed for sharing and arrive when ready, not in courses.
•Skip the rushed ordering – at Baglio's, true Italian dining involves a relaxed pace starting with antipasti, followed by primi (pasta) then secondi (mains).
•When sharing pasta, request extra small plates – the servers are happy to accommodate proper Italian family-style dining.
•Trust the specials board – Baglio's rotating seasonal dishes often feature ingredients imported directly from Italy not found on the regular menu.
•Save room for dolci (dessert) – the homemade tiramisu and panna cotta are crafted using traditional recipes passed down through generations.
Insider Tip
•Tuesday's "Aperitivo Hour" from 5-7PM offers complimentary antipasti with any two cocktail purchases – the perfect pre-dinner experience.
