Insider Dining Tips
•Carmella's on the Square Bistro & Café Essentials
•Arrive between 10am-2pm for the best atmosphere when Carmella's buzzes with a mix of business lunches and leisurely Café loungers.
•Start with a specialty coffee while browsing the menu – Carmella's baristas are known for perfect cappuccinos that complement both sweet and savory options.
•For light meals, consider sharing a few smaller plates rather than committing to a main – the bistro-style platters are designed for sampling.
•Save room for their baked goods! Carmella's pastry selection rotates daily and often sells out before closing time.
•When weather permits, request outdoor seating for people-watching on the square – the shaded tables offer Joburg's best urban vantage point.
Insider Tip
