Insider Dining Tips
•Cheerio Gardens Tea Garden Etiquette
•Cheerio Gardens is best enjoyed mid-morning when the tea is freshest and the gardens are bathed in gentle sunlight.
•Order scones first, then explore their signature tea selection. This Haenertsburg gem pairs their homemade preserves perfectly with both.
•Split a tea platter with friends for the full experience — one person can order savory, another sweet, maximizing your tasting journey.
•The outdoor seating areas offer the most authentic experience, placing you amid the colorful gardens that make Cheerio famous.
•Pace yourself through multiple tea pours — their loose-leaf varieties evolve in flavor with each steeping.
Insider Tip
•Visit during azalea blooming season (September-October) for breathtaking views and their special seasonal tea blend that's not on the regular menu.
