Insider Dining Tips
•Clay Café Paarl: Create & Feast Essentials
•Clay Café isn't just pottery painting — it's a complete dining experience at Groot Parys estate where creativity meets casual bistro fare.
•Start with your painting session first, then enjoy the bistro menu. This gives your creation time to dry while you relax over lunch.
•The breakfast menu is available until 11:30am — perfect for early birds who want to paint then brunch.
•Share charcuterie boards as starters while deciding on mains. The boards pair beautifully with Groot Parys wines.
•For groups, consider ordering a variety of pizzas to share family-style along with a few side salads.
•Vegetarian and vegan options are clearly marked on the menu — just ask your server for recommendations.
Insider Tip
•Book weekday sessions for discounted pottery options and quieter dining experience. Ask for window seating for vineyard views.
