Insider Dining Tips
•Keg and Swan Bar Basics
•Start at the bar counter for faster service, even if you plan to grab a table later — bartenders prioritize guests standing at the bar.
•Happy Hour usually runs from 4-6 PM on weekdays — arrive 15 minutes early to secure prime seating before the after-work crowd arrives.
•For large groups, consider pre-ordering platters or setting up a tab to avoid payment confusion when everyone's had a few rounds.
•Beer flights at Keg and Swan let you sample 4-5 craft brews — perfect for indecisive drinkers or those wanting to explore local options.
•When ordering cocktails, mention your preferred spirit brand — house pours are standard unless you specify otherwise.
Insider Tip
•Join their "Mug Club" loyalty program — R150 annual fee gets you a personalized mug with 20% larger pours at standard prices.
