Insider Dining Tips
•Durban North Conference Centre Dining Etiquette
•Business meetings flow smoother when food is pre-ordered through their online portal at least 24 hours in advance.
•For conferences, opt for their buffet-style service which accommodates varied dietary needs while keeping the event on schedule.
•Meeting packages include refreshment breaks - typically scheduled mid-morning and mid-afternoon with light snacks and beverages.
•Request seating arrangements when booking; the Centre offers boardroom, classroom, theater, and banquet-style configurations.
•For networking events, their cocktail-style catering with passed hors d'oeuvres creates better mingling opportunities than sit-down meals.
•The Centre's audio-visual team needs 30 minutes setup time before meal service begins - factor this into your agenda.
Insider Tip
•Book recurring meetings quarterly for a 15% discount on their Executive Package, which includes full-day catering and premium AV services.
