Insider Dining Tips
•Eastwoods Tavern Bar Basics
•Order drinks at the bar rather than waiting for table service - Eastwoods bartenders prioritize those standing at the counter.
•Try their craft beer selection before defaulting to mainstream options. The rotating taps feature local South African breweries worth exploring.
•Don't rush to pay after each round - start a tab with your credit card if you're planning to stay for multiple drinks.
•Happy Hour at Eastwoods runs from 4-6pm weekdays - arrive early to secure seating as the Arcadia crowd piles in after work.
•For groups of 6+, call ahead to reserve a section. The tavern fills quickly on weekend evenings with Pretoria locals.
Insider Tip
•Sunday afternoons feature live music and R25 draught specials from 2-5pm - the perfect wind-down before the work week.
