Insider Dining Tips
•Fireroom Reloaded: Fusion Flame Guide
•At Fireroom, the South African-Japanese fusion concept works best when you order across sections - try a steak cut and sushi platter to experience their full range.
•The flaming sushi is their signature - watch as chefs torch specialty rolls tableside, adding both theater and smoky complexity to your meal.
•South African flavors come through strongest in their aged steaks - pair a perfectly grilled cut with local wine rather than sake for the best match.
•For groups, order the sharing platters which combine both cuisines - these provide better value and let everyone sample the hybrid Fireroom experience.
•The restaurant operates on a "cook-to-temperature" system for steaks - be very specific about your preference as South African medium can run rarer than expected.
Insider Tip
•Thursday nights feature half-price sushi and cocktails after 8pm - the perfect time to sample their most extravagant flame-torched specialty rolls.
