Insider Dining Tips
•German Club Guide: Bierhalle Blueprint
•Embrace the "gemütlichkeit" (cozy atmosphere) at German Club by starting with a proper German beer - order a half-liter or full stein depending on your thirst level.
•Most German dishes here are hearty and meant for individual eating, but platters like the Schlachtplatte (mixed grill) are perfect for sharing among 2-3 people.
•Time your visit wisely - weekends feature live music and a more vibrant atmosphere, while weeknights offer a quieter, more relaxed dining experience.
•When toasting with beer (Prost!), maintain eye contact during the clink - a German tradition signifying trust and friendship.
Insider Tip
•Thursday Schnitzelfest offers any schnitzel variation with a 330ml house beer for R120 between 6-8PM.
