Insider Dining Tips
•Gorah Elephant Camp Safari Dining Guide
•Reserve your dining experience well in advance as Gorah offers limited seating in their colonial-style dining room with views of the waterhole.
•Meals at Gorah follow a set schedule with brunch after morning game drives, high tea before afternoon safaris, and formal dinners in the evening.
•Dress smart-casual for dinner - while safari attire is perfect during the day, evenings call for slightly more formal wear (no shorts or flip-flops).
•The menu changes daily based on fresh, local ingredients. Trust the chef's selections rather than expecting à la carte options.
•Wine pairings are carefully selected to complement the evening's menu. Ask your server for recommendations from their curated South African selection.
•Communal dining is common - embrace the opportunity to share stories with fellow guests about your day's wildlife sightings.
Insider Tip
•Book the Chef's Table experience (arranged 24 hours in advance) for a personalized multi-course tasting menu with premium wine pairings.
