Insider Dining Tips
•Harbour Rock Seafood Symphony
•The elevated position of Harbour Rock gives every table ocean views, but window seats are prime real estate. Book ahead and request specifically.
•Seafood platters are designed for sharing - the signature Harbour Rock platter includes local line fish, calamari, prawns and mussels for 2-3 people.
•When ordering sushi, start with lighter flavors (nigiri, sashimi) before moving to more complex rolls to fully appreciate delicate seafors.
•For steak and seafood combos, consider surf-and-turf style dining where each person orders a protein and sides are shared family-style.
•Ask your server about the daily catch - often the freshest options aren't on the regular menu but arrive based on what local fishermen bring in.
Insider Tip
•Visit during "Sunset Sessions" (weekdays 5-7pm) for half-price sushi platters and R60 specialty cocktails while watching boats return to harbor.
