Insider Dining Tips
•Homespun by Matt: Fine-Dining Fusion Finesse
•Start with the chef's tasting menu to experience Matt's signature Cape Malay-French fusion at its finest. Each course tells a story.
•Consider the wine pairing option - Homespun's sommelier expertly matches South African wines with each course's unique flavor profile.
•Don't rush - fine dining at Homespun is meant to be savored over 2-3 hours, with thoughtful pacing between creative courses.
•Request vegetarian or vegan adaptations when booking, not upon arrival. Matt crafts plant-based alternatives with equal creativity.
•For international guests, try the "Taste of Cape Town" option which highlights local ingredients through Matt's modern South African lens.
Insider Tip
•Book the chef's counter seats for Thursday dinner service - you'll get complimentary amuse-bouche extras and direct interaction with Matt.
