Insider Dining Tips
•The Hops Restaurant Bar & Grill Guide
•Balance your order by combining pub staples (like burgers) with The Hops' stellar seafood options for a true Ballito dining experience.
•Start with shared appetizers — their seafood platters are perfect for passing around while sipping on their craft beer selection.
•For main courses, consider timing — steaks and signature pizzas take 20-25 minutes, while seafood dishes arrive faster.
•Visit the bar area first if you're dining during peak hours — grab a drink while waiting for your table to avoid the Ballito weekend rush.
•When ordering steak, specify both doneness and preferred sides — The Hops offers unique pairings beyond standard fries.
•Pizzas are ideal for sharing — order one classic and one signature creation to experience their full range.
Insider Tip
•Happy Hour runs daily 4-6pm with half-price draft beers and R75 house wines — perfect timing for sunset views over Ballito.
