Insider Dining Tips
•Kirabo Private Cellar Wine Tasting Etiquette
•Tastings at Kirabo follow a structured format, moving from whites to reds, with each pour accompanied by expert commentary on terroir and vintage notes.
•Start with a vineyard tour if available - this provides context for the wines you'll be sampling and enhances your appreciation of Kirabo's unique growing conditions.
•Pace yourself by using the spittoon provided - this allows you to taste more wines without compromising your palate or sobriety.
•Don't feel pressured to purchase bottles immediately after tasting. Kirabo staff appreciate thoughtful customers who take notes and make considered selections.
•When sharing a tasting experience, designate a note-taker to record favorites - the sensory journey can make details fuzzy by the end of your visit.
Insider Tip
•Join Kirabo's Cellar Club for 15% off quarterly wine shipments and complimentary tastings for you and a guest during your birthday month.
