Insider Dining Tips
•La Piazza Breakfast & Seafood Italian Guide
•Start your day with La Piazza's breakfast menu until 11:30 AM — arrive before 9 AM on weekends to avoid the Ballito morning rush.
•For breakfast, the complimentary bread basket arrives first — save room for your main order as portions are generous.
•When ordering seafood dishes, ask your server about the daily catch — La Piazza sources locally from Dolphin Coast fishermen when possible.
•Italian courses traditionally flow from antipasti to primi (pasta) to secondi (mains) — consider sharing plates family-style for a true Italian experience.
•For large seafood platters, request the pacing of your meal — La Piazza chefs can stagger your courses rather than serving everything at once.
•Most pasta dishes can be ordered as half-portions, perfect for trying multiple offerings or as a middle course before your seafood main.
Insider Tip
•Tuesday "Pasta Night" includes any pasta dish and a glass of house wine for R185 — available from 5 PM until closing.
