Insider Dining Tips
•Macnut Farm Wedding Venue Dining Etiquette
•Macnut Farm operates primarily as a function venue, so dining is typically part of event packages rather than regular restaurant service.
•Most meals are served as either plated formal dinners or elegantly presented buffets, depending on your event package selection.
•For wedding receptions, discuss your preferred serving style early — family-style platters encourage guest interaction while plated service offers a more formal experience.
•The venue specializes in farm-to-table cuisine featuring locally-sourced ingredients, including macadamia nuts grown on the property.
•Consider seasonal availability when planning your menu — Macnut Farm's culinary team can suggest the freshest options based on your event date.
•For cocktail-style receptions, canapés are typically circulated for 1-2 hours; plan approximately 6-8 pieces per guest.
Insider Tip
•Book your menu tasting session at least 3 months before your event date for a complimentary macadamia nut gift basket to take home.
