Insider Dining Tips
•Modern Tailors Indian Dining Guide
•At Modern Tailors, order 2-3 curries for the table rather than individual mains to experience the full spectrum of Johannesburg's best Indian flavors.
•Start with papadums and chutney while deciding on mains - this traditional beginning helps pace your meal perfectly.
•Don't shy away from specifying your spice preference - Modern Tailors customizes heat levels from mild to explosive without compromising authentic flavor.
•Rice isn't automatic with every dish - order naan and rice separately based on your curry choices (creamy curries pair beautifully with naan).
•Save room for kulfi or gulab jamun - Modern Tailors' desserts provide the perfect cooling contrast after a spice-forward meal.
Insider Tip
•Sunday family bundles include 3 curries, rice, naan and dessert at 25% off regular menu pricing - perfect for 3-4 people.
