Insider Dining Tips
•Mount Edgecombe Conference Centre Dining Etiquette Guide
•Conference dining at Mount Edgecombe blends business with pleasure. Expect buffet-style service for larger events and plated options for intimate gatherings.
•Arrive 15 minutes before scheduled meal times. This allows for networking while ensuring you're seated before presentations begin.
•Check the day's menu at reception when you arrive. The kitchen often tailors offerings to match event themes or seasonal availability.
•Coffee stations typically remain available throughout the day. Don't hesitate to help yourself between sessions — it's encouraged!
•For dietary restrictions, alert staff at least 24 hours beforehand. The culinary team at Mount Edgecombe can accommodate most needs with advance notice.
•During networking meals, circulate after finishing. The conference centre design encourages conversation in dedicated post-dining lounge areas.
Insider Tip
•Book events during winter months (June-August) for a 15% venue discount, plus complimentary coffee service throughout your conference.
