Insider Dining Tips
•Tapi Tapi Artisanal Ice Cream Guide
•Tapi Tapi specializes in African-inspired ice cream flavors that tell cultural stories through
•taste - expect unique combinations unlike traditional ice cream shops.
•Start with a single scoop to explore bold flavors like Blackjack (African leafy greens) or
•Imphepho (traditional medicinal herb) before committing to larger portions.
•Ask staff about the cultural significance behind each flavor - founder Tapiwa Guzha
•creates each recipe as an edible narrative of African heritage.
•Mix flavors strategically - pair an adventurous option with something more familiar for a
•balanced taste experience.
•Visit during weekday afternoons to avoid weekend crowds and have more time to chat
•with staff about the stories behind each flavor.
