Insider Dining Tips
•Spur Texas Goodwood: Grill House Game Plan
•Order your steak by doneness level, but know that Spur tends to cook a touch rarer than some places – medium-rare can be quite pink.
•The sauce strategy matters – Spur's signature sauces (monkey gland, cheese, peri-peri) are available separately or on your burger/steak. Ask for sauce on the side if unsure.
•Start with their famous onion rings or crumbed mushrooms while waiting for mains – perfect for sharing and emblematic of the Spur experience.
•Burgers come standard with chips, but you can request a side salad swap or half-and-half at no extra charge.
•Family platters offer the best value for groups – the "Ranch Platter" or "Grill Platter" lets everyone sample Spur's famous grilled meats.
Insider Tip
•Monday is burger special day at most Spur locations including Goodwood – buy one burger, get another free when dining in after 5pm.
