•Thatchwoods Country Dining Guide
•Thatchwoods operates as a sophisticated country-style restaurant with a relaxed farm atmosphere, perfect for leisurely dining experiences in Gqeberha.
•Arrive hungry and consider a three-course approach - their starters and desserts are just as celebrated as main dishes, especially their legendary malva pudding.
•Don't rush your meal - Thatchwoods embraces slow dining philosophy where courses are thoughtfully paced and meant to be savored.
•For larger groups, consider booking one of their private dining areas in advance, as the restaurant combines intimate indoor spaces with scenic outdoor seating.
•Weekend brunches are particularly popular at Thatchwoods - arrive before 10am to secure a prime table on the veranda overlooking the gardens.
