Insider Dining Tips
•The Boma Game Lodge Dining
•The Boma offers an authentic African game lodge dining experience where traditional African dishes are served alongside international cuisine options.
•Start with a welcome drink and appetizers on the outdoor veranda to soak in the natural surroundings and wildlife views of Lovemore Park.
•Main meals are typically served buffet-style during peak season, allowing you to sample a variety of game meats, stews, and vegetarian options.
•Evening dining at The Boma often includes traditional entertainment like African drumming or dancing – don't be shy about participating when invited!
•Dress code is smart-casual; while safari attire works during the day, evenings at The Boma call for slightly more polished attire.
•Always inform staff of dietary restrictions in advance as game lodge menus are often fixed and preparation takes planning.
Insider Tip
•Book The Boma's Sunday Brunch package (R295) for unlimited mimosas and access to the Lovemore Park walking trails before or after your meal.
