Insider Dining Tips
•The Chefs' Table: Fine-Dining Vegan Etiquette
•Reservations are essential at The Chefs' Table, especially for weekend dining. Book at least 2 weeks in advance for prime slots.
•The 5-course tasting menu showcases their innovative vegan and vegetarian cuisine. Allow 2-3 hours for the full experience.
•When ordering à la carte, ask about the chef's recommended progression. Dishes are designed with intentional flavor journeys.
•Wine pairings elevate The Chefs' Table experience. Their sommelier specializes in vegan-friendly wines that complement plant-based cuisine.
•Dress code is smart-casual at minimum. While not strictly formal, athletic wear and beachwear are discouraged despite the Umhlanga location.
•Arrive 15 minutes early to enjoy a signature botanical cocktail at the bar before your seating.
Insider Tip
•The Chef's Table offers a "Green Monday" special with 20% off their plant-based tasting menu every Monday evening.
