Insider Dining Tips
•Trabella Trattoria Traditions
•Order like an Italian at Trabella by starting with antipasti, followed by primo (pasta), secondo (meat/fish), and finish with dolce.
•Pasta portions are generous - consider sharing a primo and secondo between two diners for the authentic Italian progressive dining experience.
•When ordering wine, don't hesitate to ask your server for pairing recommendations - Trabella's Sandton location boasts an impressive Italian wine selection.
•The bread basket is complimentary, but save room! Authentic Italian dining is about pacing through multiple smaller courses.
•For large groups (6+), consider the "famiglia" option where the chef selects a family-style spread of Trabella specialties to share.
Insider Tip
•Trabella's "Aperitivo Hour" runs Tuesday-Thursday from 4-6pm with half-price Aperol Spritz and complimentary small bites at the bar.
